The Cliniccare carboxytherapy treatment, however, is completely non-invasive and includes 2 products – a gel that is applied in a thick and even layer on the face (25ml) and then an activator mask which needs to be pressed firmly onto the gel. The interface of the gel and mask produces a specific amount of carbon dioxide, which is infused into the skin. By infusing carbon dioxide into the skin, an acidic environment develops. This signals our organism to increase the flow of oxygen to the treated region and promotes natural growth factors (vascular endothelial growth factors).

Carboxytherapy treatment is not suitable for acne patients who take Roacuttane (or other acne medication) as the skin is very sensitive and thin.

Not suitable for patients with rosacea either as it may be painful.

Contraindications as per normal facials and peels (eczema, dermatitis, pregnant, breastfeeding, cancer, chemo, skin infections, excessively sensitive skin, open wounds or scrapes).

There is no need to use LED with carboxytherapy as carboxytherapy is already anti-inflammatory, stimulating.

Usually, one week is enough between carboxytherapy and chemical peels. But clients who have very sensitive or thin skin are always recommended a little longer time between treatments, 10 our 14 days.

As for other treatments, it´s similar to a normal facial - 1 week after botox, 2 to 4 weeks after filler (depending on the client skin type and on the sensitivity).
