Microblading is a great pain-free treatment for almost anyone looking for a hyper-realistic brow. It is perfect for those looking to fill out over-plucked or sparse brows. Using a specially designed blade, The technician implants the chosen pigmentation tone under the epidermis layer of the skin to create individual hair strokes. This creates an extremely natural-looking eyebrow finish almost undetectable from your own hairs.
Cora will ask you about the look you would like to achieve and we will walk you through the treatment plan and give you an idea of how to improve your eyebrows, whether you would like to enhance sparse, thin brows or giving them a completely new look; that will best suit your face shape and lifestyle.
Clients will look perfectly normal after the treatment. If you are prone to rosacea or have very sensitive skin, you make look a little red around the area for a couple of hours afterwards but this will fade quickly. Most clients resume normal activities.
Your brows will go through a number of changes as you heal, they will appear a little darker around day 4/5 and then fade during the second week, this is due to the pigment being ‘hidden’ by the healing skin and is nothing to worry about. During the 3rd week, the colour will bloom back and by week 4 you will have your healed result. You should expect some light shedding but nothing more and you will lose around 30% of the pigment after your first treatment which will be reapplied at your follow up session.
Post treatment you will be provided with a special vitamin supplement to help speed up the healing process. This should be applied at least 5 times a day to prevent the scab formation. Please do not use any other creams except the ones provided to you in order to prevent possible infections or allergic reactions.
